I am going to add book and product reviews to this website. I tend to read quite a bit. My favorite credit card gives me Amazon credits so I get a lot of books. I have found over the years that while my formal education stopped with a Bachelors degree, I think I have a pretty solid MBA from practical application and a voracious appetite for knowledge.
You will find that they are honest reviews though I do tend to be on the optimistic side of life. The reviews will be based on a combination of cost, readability, benefit and usability. Now don’t think cost is simply the price of the book. Most books are in the $15 to $30 range so the actual dollar cost of the book is fairly small. It would only take one decent idea from a book to recoup the cost in your life. Some ideas are worth 1,000s of times that small investment. But you also have the time to read as well. Short books take less time to read. Complex books with intricate ideas are more like college manuals and take more effort and time to understand and absorb. Both can provide value in your life but you need to understand how much effort you will be required to put in to get the benefit from it. I tend to be a fast reader so your time to read may be longer than mine.
I hope you enjoy them and find some benefit from them. If you have some specific ones you would like reviewed please comment and let me know. You only get the benefit if you enjoy the information.
Just remember – Expanding your mind is a vital part of expanding your wealth. The knowledge is out there to be wealthy.
