Today on CNBC a commentator mentioned that we don’t treat our war heros the way that Ben Bernanke is being treated. To be honest I nearly fell off my seat. For those who are not familiar, Mr Bernanke is the Chairman of the Federal Reserve. He is currently being questioned on whether he has used some strong handed tactics and possible underhanded means to accomplish their goals. To compare him to a war hero is a slap in the face of every man and woman who has sacrificed their life, health and welfare to defend our country.
My personal belief is that Bernanke and Greenspan have done more to destroy our country than any two men in its history. To compare Bernanke’s treatment in the same breath as a war hero smacks of histeria. No one has ever taken a shot at Bernanke nor is his life on the line. At most his reputation as Fed Chairman is at risk. I have no idea if he did the things he is being questioned about but it is the American way to question those in our government.

Don’t expect an easy read from Gary North. He is a very talented man but the subject matter does not lend itself to simplicity. A different viewpoint but also very educational is Mish Shedlock Not an easy read again but if we truly want to be wealthy we need to understand what is happening to our money and who is actually in control.
The Federal Reserve is supposedly independant group that controls our money…. well they think they do anyway. Get educated and get involved.
