Is Branding Dead?

Is branding dead?

Many claims have been made that the saturation of brands are causing it to die. That brands don’t mean as much any more. Neurosciencemarketing.com recently posted an interesting video about how tweens perceive different brands. I think you will be amazed at several things. How much social proof plays a part in the popularity of brands and how at this young age they have already established opinions about certain brands.  While most of the brands are those that are targeted directly towards kids, notice the very adult brands such as Tiffany, Gucci and others.  Most of the kids already know them and have a belief system in place for them. Notice when you watch also how much of the brand is more than just a word, it is an emotional reaction as they recognize the brand name.

Go watch the video and then answer these two questions.
