Number 1 Business Motivation Speech

by Scott on November 30, 2009

Sometimes we need a boost in our motivation. During bad economic times, our outlook on life may struggle. We see problems and pitfalls instead of opportunities and blessings. We find reasons to fail. To quit. To give up. We think are aren’t smart enough. That we don’t have enough to offer to others.

Many times during the holiday season, depression can set in. The happy times around us are overshadowed by the problems in our life. As someone walking the road to wealth, you may have these issues in your life. You may think that you don’t have the skill to be successful. The capability. The “Whatever”.

Your friends may have told you to just hunker down and get a job. Work for 40 years and retire. To forget about your goals. Your desires in life. The challenges you want to overcome. For the next 31 days you have a unique opportunity. You can seize the day. Carpe Diem. You can start yourself on the path to your own personal greatness. You can change the year of 2009. You have 31 days left to leave your mark on it. Don’t wait for the New Year to make resolutions and make changes. Start today.

To help you get that extra boost, I found a short video of a former football coach. He won’t impress you with the fancy language he uses. He won’t thrill you with his pedigree or degrees. He will give you the secret to success. It is as timeless as the world. The video is over 20 years old and the message still rings true.

I beg you to take 20 minutes out of your day to watch it and act upon it. Leave your comments below with your goals. Let us hold each other accountable for the next 31 days to seize our present to make our future.

Don’t take my word for it. The secret to success is available to all of us.

Small Business owners are largely forgotten. Thats why I only focus on them. I have experience several members of my family file bankruptcy due to small business failures. I also I suffered through 2 destroyed businesses due to failure however, in my failings I have learned some of the secrets to success. (Who can say they know it all?)
What I like about small business owners is that they are not afraid to take huge risks and lay it all on the line. But, I agree they do need a lot of help with their marketing. I think having them go the social media and email route is not only the least expensive but its also the most effective. Thanks for the stats!
