When I worked in industry, I was lucky enough to get to take some really cool classes. I once spent a week at a school on a beach in Florida.
Now while that may sound glamorous, the classes started at 7:30am and usually ended around 9:30 at night for 4 1/2 days. I was exhausted when I finished the week. But I was also exhilarated. The things I found out about myself during served me very well in making decisions later in life.
It was what led me to start my first business as well as The Wealth Squad. Learning what my strengths were made my life much easier. Have you ever been in a job that just didn’t seem to fit you? That left you exhausted at night? Usually when we have those jobs it is because it doesn’t work with our strengths but rather forces us to work with our weakness. You have to put twice as much energy into it to get the same results.
Do you think Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning work with their strengths? If you put Peyton in an option system in football, he would not be the future Hall of Famer that he is. If you put Tiger on a basketball court, I really doubt you would have heard of him.
Focus on your strengths. But how do you get access to some of the same tools? The ones that from a few questions can give you a great breakdown of your strengths? I have found a resource for you. I took the test tonight and was pretty impressed by how well it hit my personality and what I know to be my strengths.
